The sensor can be placed anywhere within 100 feet of the receiving unit. NO wire installation needed! Automatically Sets for Daylight Savings Time: When you set up the clock, set the Daylight Savings Time setting to ON Atomic Accuracy: The Atomic clock has a built-in receiver that automatically synchronizes itself with the WWVB radio broadcast by the US Governments National Institute (NIST) in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Atomic Clock will always be accurate to within one second as it receives daily WWVB updates. The wireless technology means no wire installation is necessary. Easy Set up: If the atomic icon is flashing, the clock is looking for the Atomic signal. Wait until the atomic icon stops flashing before continuing with the clock set up. In most areas, a signal can be received at night. If the clock doesnt receive the WWVB Atomic Signal immediately, wait overnight and it will be set in the morning.
